Our hearts are shattered for our beloved Sayville alumna and teacher, Tiffany (Cooley) Rowan – Class of 1998, on the unimaginable loss of beautiful nine-year-old daughter, Laney Jace McGowan.

The pain of this tragedy is felt profoundly across our entire school district and alumni community.

To lose a child to a rare disease is a sorrow beyond words.

As a teacher within our halls and a graduate of our schools, Tiffany has given so much of her heart to this community. Now, it is our turn to hold her and her family in our collective embrace.
