Peter Kevin Cassidy

Peter K. Cassidy, son of Emily A. Valentino and Daniel J. Cassidy, was born on June 10, 1960 in Sayville, Long Island. He married the love of his life, Linda, on March 29, 2014.
After fighting prostate cancer for almost 9 years, Peter, age 64, passed away on August 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was an electric lineman, a Harley Davidson enthusiast and lived life to the fullest. He loved his career, smelling the fresh air and feeling the warm sun on his face when he rode his Harleys. He never met a stranger and had a smile that lit up a room.

Peter cherished the simple things in life; going out to eat, line dancing, vacationing (especially a once in a lifetime trip to Switzerland), enjoying time spent with friends and family. He loved and adored his wife, children, and dogs (his girls) to no end.

Peter is survived by his loving wife Linda, his two “suns” Peter Cassidy (son), Ralph Cassidy (son) (Mother Margaret Peters), Cassidy Ngwa (step-daughter), Ben Ngwa (son-in-law), Eva and Luna (his two 9 year old puppies) and all his brothers and sisters: Timmy Cassidy (Tammy), Eddie Cassidy, Danny Cassidy (Debbie), Michael Cassidy, Theresa Cummings (Jack), Sara Carter (Ron) and Diane Cassidy.

A Memorial service will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445 on Friday, 8/23/24 from 12 pm to 4 pm.
