Twenty straight — and a perfect regular season to go with it.

The Golden Flashes closed the regular season on Saturday, October 31, with a 34–0 win at John Glenn, running their winning streak to twenty straight games and finishing 8–0. Sayville has now scored 332 points against just 33 allowed all season.

It is a run built week by week: 41–15 over Bayport-Blue Point on October 16, 50–12 over Kings Park on October 23, and now the shutout at John Glenn to finish the job. Twenty in a row, undefeated — a season Sayville alumni will be talking about for a long time.

Sports Reporters Wanted! The Alumni Association is looking for volunteer reporters to help cover Sayville’s boys’ and girls’ sports. At a game? Send us your scores, notes, and photos — email halgbrown@sayvillealumni.org and help us keep every Sayville team in the spotlight.
