Tonight in Sayville: One Last Beach Yoga at Sunset — Alumni, Come On Out

For alumni living in town or back for a visit, here’s a gentle way to end a Monday: tonight, Monday, October 26, the last beach yoga class of the season meets on the shore in Sayville — and it’s free.

Instructor Amelie (500 RYT), in collaboration with the Karma Yoga Circle, leads one final, spooky-themed class before the sessions move indoors for the colder months. It’s beginner-friendly in the truest sense: no experience needed — just bring a mat or a towel.

Tonight, Monday, October 26
400 Foster Avenue, Sayville (on the shore)
5:45–6:30 PM — please arrive 5–10 minutes early (doors 5:35)
Free, all ages welcome

If you’ve never tried yoga, this is the softest possible landing — and a good excuse to rediscover what it can do: ease stiff joints and sore backs, improve balance and flexibility, loosen up tight shoulders, and quiet a busy mind. Forty-five minutes of gentle movement and bay air at sunset can do more for your sleep and your mood than you’d expect.

Graduates of every era are welcome — come on out, stretch a little, and help close out the season. Questions: reach Amelie at @amelie.flows or amelieflows.yoga@gmail.com.
