Jesse Sant, Sayville Hih School Class of 2005

Jesse Sant, SHS Class of 2005, enlisted into the U.S. Army in January 2014 as a 35S Signals Intelligence Analyst and is currently serving on active duty.

Jesse’s first assignment was Buckley Space Force Base, Denver, CO under the 743D Military Intelligence Battalion where he served as a mission lead in a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational assignment.

After Buckley SFB, he served as a deputy mission lead at an assignment in Australia, partnering with the Australian Defense Forces.

In June 2021, Jesse was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant via Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, Georgia as a Signal Officer, and completed the Signal Basic Officer Leader’s Course located at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Upon completion, LT Jesse Sant was assigned as a Platoon Leader for Alpha Company, 51st Expeditionary Signals Battalion – Enhanced, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, and supported joint exercises throughout the Pacific Command (PACOM) area of responsibility.

Post Platoon Leader time, he served as the Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) Executive Officer. As the HHC Executive Officer, LT Jesse Sant deployed and redeployed HHC to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield.

In September 2024, LT Sant was selected for a branch transfer and now serves as Military Intelligence Officer.

He will promote to Captain in June 2025.

LT Jesse Sant is married to his wife, Jennifer (nee Reynolds), also a Sayville alumni, and they have 4 children: Emma, Leah, Trevor, and Caroline.

His mother, Martha Sant, has worked as a librarian’s assistant at Sayville Middle School for the last 25 years.
