We are saddened to learn of the passing of Margaret E. “Peggy” (Flanagan) Salamone, Class of 1968, on June 9, 2025.

Our thoughts and condolences are with her family, friends, classmates, and teachers during this difficult time.  While we do not have an obituary or additional information to share at this time, we are aware that Peggy’s brother is Timothy Flanagan, Class of 1972 and we extend our sincere condolences to Tim and his family. 

Visiting Hours were held on  Monday, June 16, 2025, 10:00AM – 12:00PM at the Robertaccio Funeral Home – Patchogue, 85 Medford Avenue (Rt. 112) Patchogue, NY 11772.

Final Resting Place is Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727.

A memorial page has been created in Peggy’s honor and the Sayville Alumni Association will remember her annually on her birthday, October 18th. We hope these remembrances will provide solace to those who knew and loved her.
