With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Joshua Lombardi, who left us far too soon on June 4, 2024, just weeks before his 39th birthday. Known for his big heart, generous spirit, and deep loyalty to those he loved Joshua leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family.

Born on June 30, 1986, Joshua was the beloved son of the late Ralph Jr. and Valerie (Karp) Lombardi. He grew up with a strong sense of family, a value that defined his life and relationships. He is survived by his devoted brother Matthew Lombardi and sister-in-law Jennifer (Doop) Lombardi. Joshua was a proud and loving uncle to Avery and Carter Lombardi.

Joshua also shared a meaningful and lasting relationship with his long-time girlfriend, Crystal Fields. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. Joshua was a steady, caring presence in the life of Crystal’s son, Colt Tolbert.

He was a passionate fan of New York Yankees. He had a deep love for cooking, especially Italian dishes. Joshua found joy in the simple things: movie nights, road trips, and late-night video game and spending time with friends and family.

Above all, Joshua will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, and warm sense of humor. Whether you knew him as a brother, uncle, partner, or friend, Joshua made a lasting impact, and his memory will live on in the lives he touched.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 2:00-4:30 pm and 7:00-9:30 pm at D’Andrea Bros. Funeral Home. A religious service will be held for Joshua on Friday evening at the funeral home. The family will be gathering Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Joshua will be laid to rest with his parents on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Cemetery of he Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

To honor Joshua’s memory, a dedicated memorial page has been created, and the Sayville Alumni Association will remember him each year on his birthday, June 30th. We hope that this tribute will bring some level of comfort to those who knew and loved Joshua, keeping his spirit alive in our hearts.
