Virginia Farrell has regretfully informed us of the passing of James Vincent Bligh, a member of the Class of 1976, on July 3, 2024, in Gardnerville, Nevada after a brief illness.

James, also known as “Jimbeau,” was born on February 27, 1958. He is survived by his wife, Heidi, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be held privately, and there are currently no services planned.

Our deepest condolences go out to James’s family, friends, and fellow classmates. The Sayville Alumni Association will honor James’s memory each year on his birthday, in the hopes that this tradition will provide some solace to those who cherished him.
