A special gem takes the spotlight: a 1917 Certificate of Promotion to Grade 2A, generously shared by Kathy La Capra. 

This treasured document belonged to her great-grandmother, Dorathea Magdalene (Van Wyen) Neal—who later graduated with the Sayville Class of 1928.
