Hello!  I’m Marcy Kucera, and I’m on a heartfelt mission to piece together the life and legacy of my father, Miles R. Kucera, who passed away in 2009. 

If you knew him, attended Sayville High School with him (Class of 1948), or have any photos or stories that include him, I’d be deeply grateful to connect.

My Dad was born on February 16, 1931, in Islip, New York, He married my mom, Delphine, and together they raised two children, Matthew and myself.

Dad passed away on July 31, 2009, and was laid to rest beside my mom Delphine at Wading River Cemetery. 

Now, I’d like to gather stories from his youth, friendships at Sayville High, or even everyday moments that made him who he was.
