The Golden Flashes keep rolling. Sayville traveled to Shoreham-Wading River on Friday night and brought home a 34-0 shutout — their 17th straight win, moving to 5-0 on the season.

The defense was the story again. Through five games, Sayville has allowed just 6 points all year — a lone touchdown against Miller Place on September 28 — while scoring 207. That’s four shutouts in five games.

Next up: Bayport-Blue Point comes to Sayville on Friday, October 16.

A call to action: the Alumni Association needs sports reporters. If you follow Sayville athletics — all sports, boys and girls — and you’d like to write up games for this site, we’d love to hear from you. You can email your sports report to HalGbrown@sayvillealumni.org.
