Alumni, some of Sayville’s finest young musicians are taking the stage this week! Sayville students have been selected for the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association (SCMEA) All-County Jazz ensembles — high school and middle school instrumental and vocal jazz groups drawing top student musicians from districts all across Suffolk County, with Sayville proudly among them.

Saturday, November 7, 7:00 PM — the All-County Jazz Concert, at Shoreham-Wading River High School in Shoreham.

Alumni in the area, it’s a short trip for a night of outstanding student jazz — and a chance to cheer on Sayville’s own among the county’s best. Tickets are ordered through the ScmeaFest Registration System. Congratulations to our Sayville musicians and their teachers on this honor!

Are you a Sayville family with a musician in the All-County Jazz ensembles? Send us their name and a photo at halgbrown@sayvillealumni.org — we’d love to spotlight them.
