The Sayville Alumni Association is proud to present a special evening with one of our own: David Smale, Sayville High School Class of 1977, professional storyteller and author of 36 books — including his newest, the murder mystery The Art of Trusting Your Gut, “A Murder Mystery with a Real-Life Twist.”

Join us live on Zoom as David shares the story behind the book, talks about his career since his Sayville days, and then takes your questions. It’s a conversation with a Sayville graduate who has spent a lifetime telling stories — and this one comes with a twist.

When: Wednesday, December 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM Eastern Time
Where: Live on Zoom — all are welcome: alumni, students, and the whole community.
