Nineteen Straight and Counting: Golden Flashes Roll Toward Saturday
Friday night lights, Sayville style. A Golden Flash breaks into the clear against Bayport-Blue Point on October 16 — a night that ended 41–15 for Sayville and ran the win streak to eighteen straight.

And they haven’t slowed down since. The Flashes are 7-0, winners of nineteen in a row, with 298 points scored against just 33 allowed all season — the latest a 50–12 win over Kings Park. It is, by any measure, an incredible run.
Alumni, come on out — the regular-season finale is this Saturday, October 31, at John Glenn (4-3), where Sayville goes for twenty straight. If you’ve been waiting for a Saturday to wear the purple and gold again, this is the one.
Sports Reporters Wanted! The Alumni Association is looking for volunteer reporters to help cover Sayville’s boys’ and girls’ sports. At a game? Send us your scores, notes, and photos — email halgbrown@sayvillealumni.org and help us keep every Sayville team in the spotlight.
