Miss Ruth Mae Kwaak was a distinguished professional fashion
model, gracing runways and photo shoots with her poise and
timeless beauty. Her career in the fashion industry left an indelible mark, as she embodied both sophistication and the effortless charm of a bygone era.

One of her most notable performances was in the celebrated
production “American Jubilee” at the 1940 World’s Fair in New
York, an extravaganza that showcased the nation’s cultural and
artistic brilliance during a time of global signicance. Under the stage name “Jean Stanton,” Ruth brought charm and charisma to her performances, seamlessly transitioning from the runway to the spotlight. Her talent and versatility made her a standout figure in both fashion and theater, embodying the glamour and dynamism of the era.

A testament to her rising fame, Ruth was featured in a striking
photograph published in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle on June 2, 1940,
immortalizing her as a woman of elegance and artistry.
