We asked, “Have you heard of Budenos Drive in Sayville?”
We were so excited when Mary Jane McKenna shared childhood memories of skating and playing on the farm.
Then, Kathleen Chandler shared a fantastic photograph of the Budenos Dairy Barn on Broadway Avenue in Sayville which was taken by Gwendoline Fish Chandler in May 1963. Kathleen also shared a memory of her grandfather, who loved to go and “smell the cows”.
