It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra Ann “Debbie” (Crean) Smith, Sayville High School Class of 1980, of Patchogue, who passed away on November 2, 2026.

The sad news was shared by Debbie’s sister, Donna Crean, whose words speak to the deep faith at the center of Debbie’s life:

“She was truly a good and faithful servant of the Lord and His Holy Catholic Church. Her faith and love for God were a beautiful part of who she was.”

Visitation: Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 2:00–4:30 PM and 7:00–9:30 PM, at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Highway, Bayport.

Funeral Mass: Monday, November 9, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at St. Francis de Sales RC Church, 7 Amity Street, Patchogue. Interment follows at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Sayville.
