The friendship took root years before Sayville High School graduation in 1972.  And, it never faded. 

Now, over half a century later, that same bond was on full display as Evie, Diane, and Gail came together again for a heartfelt reunion in Nashville, Tennessee! 

Fifty-three years of life’s adventures—careers, families, and cross-country moves all melt away the moment they are together again, their connection as easy and vibrant as ever.  Year after year after year.  Evie, Diane, and Gail and such an inspiration!

This gathering is always more than a trip down memory lane; it is a powerful testament to the unique beauty of roots. Forged in the same hometown of Sayville, their friendship has proven to be an unshakable foundation. While their individual paths led them in different directions, the thread that connects them remained resilient, effortlessly pulling them back across the miles and decades.

In a world that often feels transient, the story of Evie, Diane, and Gail is a beautiful reminder that the most precious treasures from our youth are not things, but the people who knew us “when.” They are the ones who can look at you now and still see the dreamy-eyed 18-year-old ready to take on the world.
