Updated Information on the passing of Dirk A. Postupack, Class of 1980

We are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Dirk A. Postupack, Class of 1980 on on July 5, 2026.

During this very challenging time, our hearts go out to the Postupack family, as well as Dirks many classmates, friends and colleagues.

Thank you to the Dan Postupack for alerting us to Dirk’s passing.

From 2011, Dirk served as Sales Manager and Loan Officer at Allentown Mortgage Corp, where clients consistently praised his knowledge, integrity, and warm, easygoing manner.

The Postupack family is still grieving the loss of Alice — mother of Dirk, Daniel, Duane, Denise, Deidre and Billy — who passed away just six months ago, on December 26th, 2025. Now, with Dirk’s passing so soon after his mother’s, this has been an especially difficult season for the family.

A memorial page has been created in Dirk’s honor.  The Sayville Alumni Association will remember Dirk annually on his birthday.  We hope this remembrance will provide solace for those who knew and loved him.

On Sunday, July 5, Dirk A. Postupack (63), of New Tripoli, PA, was called by the Lord for an early tee time through the Pearly Gates on Heaven’s finest course. Born on Long Island, Dirk called Sayville, New York, home before moving to Pennsylvania, where he began his adult life in Allentown.

We will miss his conversations, no matter how long he kept you on the phone; his jokes, no matter how many times he told them; and his love, no matter how hard his bear hugs were.

He was an avid hunter and golfer, as well as a proud hole-in-one recipient, who loved football, baseball, surfing, spirited debates, and cooking and entertaining for his army of family and friends. He was passionate about helping others and worked hard throughout his life, eventually settling into the mortgage industry, where he excelled at turning houses into homes and helping countless families build their futures.

Dirk was a fierce presence, larger than life, and he will be missed immensely. Above all, he was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousin, colleague, and friend who will be remembered, treasured, and loved forever.

Hey, Buddy… You know! We love ya, man!

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Maria; his children, Craig Postupack (Lexie), Courtney Perich (Chris), and Shahna Hughes (Todd); his siblings, Danny (Patty), Duane (Nina), Deidre, and Denise (Jim Fleidner); his grandchild, Kona; and his step-grandchildren, Sam, Lila, and Eva. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel C. and Alice (Satoris) Postupack, and his sister-in-law, Nina Postupack.

A celebration of Dirk’s life will be held at Olde Homestead Country Club, 6598 PA-309, New Tripoli in the Carriage House on July 27 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM for the visitation. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 PM during the visitation period. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Dirk’s memory may make a memorial contribution to Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., PO Box 52, Fogelsville, 18051, to help support his family during this difficult time.
