The passing of Geraldine Marie (Reese) Feindt, Class of 1950.
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Geraldine’s passing back on February 8, 2026.
We extend our deepest condolences to Geraldine’s family, her classmates from Sayville High School, and the friends, colleagues, and loved ones who were privileged to share in her life’s journey.

Frontline Warrior Geraldine M. Feindt, age 93, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, surrounded by love. She lived a long and full life marked by devotion to faith & family.
Born on June 30th,1932 in Huntington, New York, to Thomas & Kathryn Reese, Geraldine grew up in a large Irish-Catholic family that shaped her strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and conviction. These qualities stayed with her throughout her life and were evident to all who knew her.
She married the love of her life Robert, on June 13th, 1954 a Navy and Army veteran of World World II and valued member of the Patchogue Vanguard Fire House Company No. 1.
Geraldine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was thoughtful, principled, and never particularly shy about sharing her perspective—something those closest to her came to know with affection and, often, a smile. Family mattered deeply to her, and she spoke the truth in love, and didn’t mince words.
During the early 70’s Geraldine came into a deeper faith in God accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her faith grew and shaped the rest of her life. She navigated both joy and hardship with determination. In 1982, she attended a tent revival where she found not just a church, but her spiritual family – where she served faithfully for the rest of her life. In 1994 she was ordained as a minister of the gospel by pastors Tom and Liz McGuinness. She was a devoted evangelist sharing the gospel anywhere she went around the world –from the doctor’s office to the Patchogue train station– with anyone in her path.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and siblings Thomas, Anne, Morney, and Jock.
She leaves behind her brother David and a beautiful legacy in her children: Robert, Madelaine, Raymond, Kathryn, Richard, Gerald, Edy; their spouses; and 47 grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends who will remember her strength, her convictions, and her enduring presence.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Compassion International or Jesus is Lord Church of Holtsville.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who offered prayers, kindness, and support throughout her life and especially during her final days.

In recognition of her enduring legacy, the Sayville Alumni Association will observe Geraldine’s birthday, June 30th, each year as a day of remembrance. We hope this ongoing tribute, along with the shared stories and reflections of those whose lives she touched as a devoted evangelist, will bring comfort and solace to her family and friends in the years to come. May the memory of Geraldine’s kind heart and an unwavering faith continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
