We are saddened to learn of the passing of The passing of Edith (Ketzlick) Berryman, Class of 1962 on June 20, 2026. 

During this very challenging time, our hearts go out to Edith’s family, friends, classmates and colleagues. 

Edith (Ketzlick) Berryman
November 28, 1944 – June 20, 2025

Edith Berryman, a longtime resident of Copiague, New York, passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 80.

She was born on November 28, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to Charles Ketzlick (1917–1984) and Edith Ketzlick (1919–1995). Both of her parents are buried at Saint John Nepomucene Parish Cemetery in Bohemia, Suffolk County, New York.

Edith was predeceased by her husband, Richard Daniel Berryman (March 5, 1937 – May 6, 2017), who is buried at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Marion County, Florida.

A memorial page has been created in Edith’s honor.  The Sayville Alumni Association will remember Edith annually on her birthday, November 28th.  We hope this remembrance will provide solace for those who knew and loved her.
