We regret to inform you of the passing of Dorothy “Dottie” (Leudemann) Lamens, Class of 1949 on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Raynor’s and D’Angelo Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements and has released the following obituary. The memorial services are scheduled for August 3rd.

A memorial page will be created in honor of Dorothy. Our deepest condolences go out to Dorothy’s family and friends. We will commemorate Dorothy each year on her birthday. It is our hope that celebrating Dorothy’s life annually on her birthday will provide some solace to those who cherished her.

Dorothy Lamens Obituary
Dorothy L. Lamens, 92, of West Sayville, New York, died on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Born and raised in Holbrook, Dorothy graduated from Sayville High School. She worked for more that 25 years as a Pharmacy Technician with Pathmark. Mrs. Lamens was also a longtime, active member of St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Sayville.

Mrs. Lamens is survived by two daughters, Susan of Oakdale and Laura of West Sayville, as well as three grandchildren, Melanie, Alexandra and Kristina and two great-grandchildren, Lucian and Holly. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1990 and by her son Bart in 2006.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea in West Sayville. A private cremation was held.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11a.m. on August 3 at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Sayville. Reception to follow at parish hall.
