The Sayville Alumni Association extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends, and classmates of Andrew Howe, Sayville High School Class of 1974, who passed away this morning.

News of Andrew’s passing was shared by the Class of 1974 Facebook page, who reflected on the friendship they shared over many years:

“It is always sad to lose a friend, but this loss is very difficult for me. Andrew and I spent a lot of time together in recent years. From my visits to California to the many special times here on Long Island with our SHS friends, Andrew was always the life of the party.”

Andrew will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his friendship, and the many good times shared with his Sayville High School classmates. Among those memories were gatherings at his little house on the bay in Bayport—special occasions where friends came together and Andrew’s warmth and personality made the moments memorable.

The Class of 1974 has lost a wonderful friend and classmate who clearly touched the lives of many.

Rest easy, Andrew. You will be missed.
