Monday memories; The 1962 Insignes Athletae was an honorary sports club It gained high recognition under the guidance of Mr. Charles Carpenter since its commencement in Sayville High School. Prospective members are chosen by a unanimous vote of all members only after they have met all of the qualifications.
Their high standards truly uphold the ”Sign of the Athlete” which its name reveals. The I.A. attended professional athletic events throughout 1962 and sponsored a St. Patrick’s Day Dance. They made contributions of service to the school and to the betterment of Sayville High School athletics.
