Stang Wars; Snippets of Wisdom from the life and works of David Stang

While deeply saddened by his passing in July 2018, it is most important to celebrate the life of David Stang and his extraordinary work. David was instrumental in launching our sayvillealumni.org. But, that is a mere glimpse into his encyclopedic knowledge and personage.

As a legacy preservation initiative and to offer some insight into the keen mind of David Stang, the Sayville Alumni Association announces a new column; “Stang Wars”, dedicated to David.

While not specifically on target regarding alumni activities, it is a divergence and legacy by a Class of 1963 alumni on a variety of topics.  David concentrated much of his efforts on the development of “Horse Sense”… Thus, there will often be a focus on horses and horse-human interaction, but not about riding, diet, illness, shoeing, or showing. It will be more about how horses work — than about how to work them.

We hope you will enjoy Stang Wars; Snippets of Wisdom from the life and works of David Stang.
