Sayville, L.I. — Thursday, November 14, 1963
In November 1963, Sayville High School brought John Patrick’s heartwarming and witty comedy, The Curious Savage, to the local stage. The story follows Ethel P. Savage, a wealthy widow whose greedy stepchildren attempt to control her fortune by committing her to a sanatorium. Instead of despair, Mrs. Savage finds true friendship and wisdom among the colorful residents of "The Cloisters." A timeless tale about the relativity of sanity and the power of kindness, the production captured the wit and spirit of our talented drama students. Pictured in the featured rehearsal are Michele Mead, Paul Sluiter, Robert Walker, Penelope Sinisi, Donna Zinderdine, and Cynthia Wenk.
