The Sayville Alumni Association serves as a collective for the alumni of Sayville High School, established and managed by alumni alongside other dedicated volunteers.

Membership is extended to former and current staff, educators, administrators, members of the Sayville Board of Education, and individuals with a genuine interest, including those with familial ties to alumni. It is important to note that membership is not limited to graduates of Sayville schools.

Membership is complimentary and will remain so indefinitely.

For over a century, we have existed in various forms, yet one aspect has remained constant:

“Our dedicated team makes it happen!”
The individuals listed below have taken initiative and contributed their efforts!
Most prefer not to hold permanent positions; therefore, we continue to adapt and grow.
We sincerely hope you will join us in this endeavor!

Our members are worldwide.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Sayville High School Alumni Association is to facilitate, develop and enhance mutually beneficial relationships among SHS alumni, faculty, staff, and students. — from the organizational meeting of December 4, 2013.

Remembering our Sayville High School Alumni history holds a significant and multifaceted value for individuals, communities, and institutions. This remembrance extends beyond mere nostalgia; it shapes identities, strengthens communities, and fosters a sense of continuity and pride. Documenting and celebrating the accomplishments of alumni provides current students with tangible examples of success.

Whether alumni have achieved prominence in the military, academia, sports, arts, business, or community service, their stories inspire students to pursue their goals with determination. These role models demonstrate that success is achievable and that our high school and the mentorship of our teachers was a critical step in the journey!

No membership fees. Free and always will be.

All work performed by the Sayville Alumni Association is 100% voluntary.

Donations in memory of alumni, teachers and staff are gladly accepted to help pay the cost of cloud hosting, calendar services, malware/virus protection, daily back-up, and software costs.

SAA is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Charitable Corporation

Remembering David

Sayvillealumni.org was the creation of David J. Stang, It is with very deep sadness, that we report the untimely passing of David, SHS class of 1963.

A man of profound Sayville High School spirit and the founder of sayvillealumni.org, David died July 8, 2018 4:13.PM in Washington, DC after a short illness. David was a very young 72 years of age.

If you knew David, it would be no surprise to learn that his body was donated to medical science. David, my mentor at sayvillealumni.org was an amazing man, who was loved and admired by so many… his passing is a complete shock. We mourn for his family and friends.
