The Sayville Alumni Association notes with sadness the passing of Victoria Mae (Sevenliss) Flanagan Croskrey, Sayville High School Class of 1952, who died January 24, 2025, in Arroyo Grande, California. She was 89.

Victoria was born November 21, 1935, in Islip, to Joseph and Sophie Sevenliss, and grew up with her brother Joseph. She married Daniel Flanagan in 1960, and later married Leigh Croskrey. A retired teacher, she spent her working years in education in California.

Her husband Leigh’s 2015 obituary remembered her as “his wife Victoria, a retired teacher.”
