In Memoriam: Remembering Samuel Fox, Class of 1950 (1932–2024)

It is with sadness and respect that we share news of the passing of one of our community’s alumni and US Army veteran, Samuel Fox, who passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on March 13, 2024, at the age of 91.

Born on September 24, 1932, in Bay Shore, Long Island, Samuel’s roots run deep in Suffolk County. As a young man, he answered the call of duty to serve his nation, a chapter of dedication and honor that remained a cornerstone of his life and legacy.

After making his mark on the East Coast, Samuel eventually journeyed west, spending his later years in Los Angeles County. Following his wishes, Samuel was cremated, and his memory is officially commemorated under findagrave Memorial ID #308824782.

We extend our deepest condolences to Samuel’s family, friends, and loved ones. His service to our country and his place in our history will never be forgotten.

A special note of gratitude goes to Erick Baumeister of our Historians Committee for bringing Samuel’s passing to our attention and ensuring his life and service are honored within our community.
