Today, we learned that Borghild Ruth (Hansen) Clark, Class of 1942 turned 98, this past June 8.    Borghild’s son, Douglas Clark of Bayport informed me that his mom currently resides in Bellhaven Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Care in Bellport.

She is the last of the children of the large Hans K. and Margrethe Hansen family of Lake Ronkonkoma.

Three of the children served in the military during World War II.

Borghild’s husband Leo Monroe Clark, also Class of 1942 (yes, Sayville High Sweethearts) also served in the military in WWII and is buried in Calverton.

While this is very belated, Happy, Happy 98^th birthday to Borghild Ruth (Hansen) Clark, Class of 1942!
