Celebrating Lorraine — A Belated Happy 90th Birthday!

We have a very special, if belated, celebration to share with our Sayville Alumni family today.

On June 18th, Lorraine (Kelly) Heinlein Maloney, a proud member of the Class of 1954, celebrated her 90th birthday. This post was ready to go out that very week, but life had other plans. I was in the ICU at Shands Burn Hospital at the time, and it had to wait. Lorraine, please forgive the delay. Better late than never, and you deserve this celebration no matter when it arrives.

Ninety years is a milestone worth pausing for, and Lorraine has spent so much of that life as a steady, generous presence.

She carries her Class of 1954 pride with her always, and it shows. There’s something wonderful about someone who, seventy-plus years after graduation, still lights up at the mention of Sayville High School!

Lorraine, on behalf of the entire Sayville Alumni Association, thank you. Thank you for your support, your enduring class pride, and the warmth you’ve brought forward for so long.

We hope your 90th year was everything you deserved, and we’re honored to celebrate you, albeit, a little late.

Happy 90th Birthday, Lorraine. Here’s to you!

With admiration and gratitude,
The Sayville Alumni Association
