Three children and their mother look over the eggs which the children have found in the garden. Have they found all of them or do they need to keep looking?
I obtained this image from Michele Tway, who states; “As far as Easter images go, this one is a bit subtle in its portrayal of the holiday but I think that’s what helps make it so nice. The picture comes from “Baby’s Annual Pictures and Stories for Little People”, which was published by D. Lothrop Company in 1890.
As we struggle with the mandates of a worldwide pandemic, yesterday proved to be a very strange Easter. No in-person Easter church services, no family gatherings, no big community Easter egg hunts. On the brighter side and to promote some positive conversation, could we perhaps hear and learn some of your memories from this time of year? Family traditions? Perhaps some of your memories from Sayville and surrounding communities? Feel free to share pictures, too! Thank you and stay safe!
