We are thrilled to present below, the first of three exclusive, newly restored photographic memories from Sayville High School’s drama and theatrical history which will soon be added as a feature in our drama section!

For the first time since 1936, these three vintage 1937 yearbook photographs have been professionally enhanced and colorized, bringing a vibrant new life to scenes that have only been seen previously, in black and white. By removing the original halftone grain and carefully applying authentic period colors, we’ve aimed to capture the true energy and detail of these performances as they appeared on stage.

We hope these updated images bring a sense of joy and excitement to our readers as we celebrate the enduring spirit of the Sayville High drama and theater program.
