Come check out our new feature! Birthday Remembrance Calendar!
I ask with a big smile, “Do you ever feel like this”? The smile gets bigger… things are getting better! As you know, I’ve been experimenting with various technology apps to free-up some overstretched time.
The alumni birthday remembrance project has been ongoing for several years behind the scenes… research, gathering and confirming facts, trying to cleanup old pictures and so forth. All the information gets compiled into a Google Calendar.
Posting of the actual events to our website and Facebook page is the easiest part. Primarily copy/paste functions, it too is time consuming. Enter a wee bit of automation.
Today rolls out our first automated posts;
1. Facebook. Google Calendar —> event triggered by daily entry —> Post to SAA Facebook.
2. SAA website. Google Calendar —> event triggered by daily entry —> Post to new Daily events and full calendar page. Please come see our new feature;
