We wanted to share a sad post from Janet Donadio Cozza;

“It is with deep and profound sadness that I am writing this post. Yesterday the world lost two beautiful, caring women. Both were valued employees of Sayville Schools, Sayville HS to be exact.

You may remember the post about Donna Papa back in January. She was battling MS and Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer.

Then there was Lori Elia who was diagnosed with the CoVid virus a little more than two weeks ago. Lori fought for the last 12 days in the hospital.

Both were Sayville residents with children who attended school there. Sadly both lost their battles within hours of each other. I’d like to think that they are together now watching over all of the friends and family they left behind.

On a personal note Lori was my aide at Cherry Avenue and I was so blessed to have had her as a colleague and friend. Sending sympathy to both the Papa and Elia families. May Donna and Lori Rest In Peace. “?
