Sadly, the family of Bill Dockweiler has informed of his passing on October 12, 2024.

January 20, 1948 ~ October 12, 2024 (age 76)

Raynor & D’andrea Funeral Home published the below obituary; William J. Dockweiler, age 76, resident of Blue Point died on October 12, 2024. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Joyce, his children Gretchen Marie Wilson, Elizabeth Dockweiler-Vineyard, Daniel Dockweiler and his wife Barbie, his grandchildren Troy, Christian, Destiny, Austin, Addison, Logan, and his two great-grandchildren, Penelope and Kevin, his sisters Joan Lund, and Betty Jean Dockweiler Stiefel and her husband Frank, as well as many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends. Bill was predeceased by his grandson Jared.

F.amily will receive visitors Friday, October 18th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. A chapel service will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Mr. Dockweiler’s memory to The American Heart Association, are appreciated.

A memorial page has been established for Bill and the Sayville Alumni Association will remember him every year on his birthday, January 20. We hope that remembering Bill each year will help bring some level of comfort to those who knew and loved him.
