We regret to inform you of the passing of Peter Kevin Cassidy, age 64, of Summerville, South Carolina, and Class of 1978, who passed away on August 3, 2024.

Palmetta Cremation Society, Inc. is handling the arrangements and has released the below obituary.

A memorial page will be created in honor of Peter.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. We will commemorate Peter each year on his birthday. We hope that celebrating Peter’s life annually on his birthday will provide solace to those who cherished him.

Obituary for Peter Kevin Cassidy
Peter K Cassidy, age 64, passed away on August 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Peter was born on June 10, 1960, in Sayville, Long Island, and married Linda on March 29, 2014.

He was an electric lineman and a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He loved his career and smelling the fresh air and feeling the warm sun on his face when he rode his Harleys.

Peter cherished the simple things in life; going out to eat, line dancing, vacationing (especially a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Switzerland), and enjoying time spent with friends and family. He adored his wife, children, and dogs (his girls) to no end.

Peter is survived by his loving wife Linda, his two “suns” Peter Cassidy (son), Ralph Cassidy (son), Cassidy Ngwa (daughter), Ben Ngwa (son-in-law), Eva and Luna (his two 9 year old puppies). And all his brothers and sisters: Tim, Danny, Eddie, Michael, Tammy, Theresa, Sara and Diane.

A Memorial Service will be planned for a future date.
