We regret to inform you of the tragic passing of Dorothy “Dottie” (Paglia) Walsh, a member of the Class of 1984 at Sayville High School.

Dottie was a dedicated nurse’s aide and pharmacy tech, balancing her career with raising her children, Tommy and Amy. She took great pride in her children’s accomplishments and was known for her sense of humor and her beautiful caligraphy handwriting.

Dottie enjoyed the beach, cooking, horse racing, and was a loving pet parent to her dogs Sandy, Spike, Lacy, and Ben, as well as her parrot Rosie.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dottie’s family, friends, and fellow classmates.
