Today our Historians celebrate Elizabeth G. “Betty” Wells Fuhrmann, Class of 1936.

Betty was born 24 Jul 1918, Islip, Suffolk County, New York.

She died 30 May 2008 (aged 89) East Setauket, Suffolk County, New York.

Betty was the daughter of William L Wells (boirn Sayville) and Lillian Patrick Wells.

In 1956, Betty married Frank Albert Fuhrmann, born 1 Oct 1911 in Patchogue, Suffolk County, New York. Mr. Fuhrmann was the former President of Swezey Fuel Company. A member of the Board of Trustees at Mather Memorial Hospital.

Obituary: Elizabeth W. Fuhrmann of South Setauket on May 30, 2008 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Frank A. Fuhrmann. Loving mother of Bruce Fuhrmann (Paula) and Beverly Gregory (Robert). Also survived by four grandchildren.
Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
