Sadly, Kelly (Parks) Wagner, class of 1982 and informed us of the passing of her beloved Dad;

Elwood Jerome “Jerry” Parks, Class of 1960.

Jerry, age 78, passed away Friday, October 01, 2021 at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Jerry was a longtime resident of Sayville and worked for Long Island Lighting.

Many will remember Jerry as an outstanding athlete in football, baseball, basketball, and golf.

Jerry’s father was a Sayville High Graduate;  Elwood Keyes Parks, Class of 1934.

Jerry’s wife was a Sayville High Graduate;  Kathleen Gilmartin, Class of 1960.

Jerry’s children were all Sayville High Graduates.

We extend our sincere sympathies to the Parks family, friends and classmates.

We will remember Jerry every year on his birthday, December 4th.
