Some may remember my brother Douglas R. Brown, Class of 1978 from Cherry Ave and Sayville Middle School. He moved to Merrimack, NH for most of his high school days.

With deep sadness and a heavy heart, I wanted to let you all know that my dear brother Douglas passed away very suddenly last evening, following a cardiac episode of some sort. Doug was only 61. The grief we are all feeling is devastating.

Consistent with his good nature of always giving and caring, Doug is an organ and tissue donor. His gifts to many people he never met were attended to this morning. I’m writing this through blurry eyes… prayers please for his dear wife Sherri Brown.
