Here is a bit of Great South Bay trivia, courtesy of our boating enthusiast classmate Bill Jasuta, class of 1972.

Does anyone recognize this boat? Every summer since the early 1970s, it sails to Talisman Beach (next to Barrett Beach).  As you can see in Bill’s recent photograph, it still is!

Perhaps “Northwind” is a vintage Chris Craft?
