We have learned directly from Shawn H. Nilson, SHS class of 1983, that he has been diagnosed with stage-four cancer. Shawn remains upbeat about his horrific diagnosis and gave permission to share this information with the Sayville alumni family. While Shawn states “Had a great life! Just had a ride in the Batmobile through the heart of Sayville!”, your thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement are greatly appreciated as he faces an exceedingly difficult future.
