✏️ A Little Pencil. A Lot of Memories

Last June, as the Class of 2026 celebrated one of life’s biggest milestones, the Sayville Alumni Association gave each graduate a little something to take with them—a simple pencil tied with purple and gold ribbon and a message of congratulations.

It may not have helped you pass that last math exam, but we hope it reminded you that graduation isn’t the end of your connection to Sayville. It’s just the beginning of your journey as a Sayville alumnus.

Years from now, perhaps that pencil will turn up in the back of a desk drawer, a box, or a forgotten pencil cup. And when it does, we hope it brings back memories of classmates, teachers, games, concerts, friendships—and that unforgettable day you graduated.

After all, pencils may get shorter with use, but Sayville memories never wear out.

Congratulations again to the Class of 2026! We were proud to welcome you to the Sayville Alumni Association, and we look forward to continuing this little tradition with the Class of 2027.

A huge thank you to our amazing Board of Directors! We are especially grateful for the incredible Janet Cozza and her daughter, Emily—we couldn’t have done it without your phenomenal support!

Do you still have your Sayville Alumni pencil? ✏️💜💛
