We are deeply saddened to hear that Christopher Ward Reed, Class of 1972, has passed on. Martin Keane, Class of 1986, informed us of this sad news.

The passing of Christopher Reed is made even more tragic by the death of his father, Robert Reed.

Our sincere condolences go out to Christopher’s family, friends, and classmates during this difficult time.

Known for being exceptionally kind, courteous, and respectful, the Reed family of West Sayville had 16 children. Brother Kenny and sister Catherine both pre-deceased Christopher and his Dad, Robert.

In 1972, Chris was a valued member of the Sayville High School Cross Country New York State Champion Team.
