From the 1941 and 1987 archives; Anese Merri (Anderson) Ash, Class of 1941

Anese was a member of the High School girls chorus, as noted in 1940 yearbook.

***Anese was the daughter of Leo Maran Anderson and Carrie M. Anderson of Church Street in Lake Ronkonkoma.  Her Dad Leo was a Veteran.  He was born October 2, 1893 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and died February 6, 1960 (aged 66).

***Anese married David Herman Ash (born 4 JUL 1922 • Norwalk, Connecticut – died 23 JAN 2006 in Pleasantville, Westchester, New York.

***Anese became the Executive Director of the Rockland NY Historical Society.  She loved Long Island and Fire Island, spending much of her adult time visiting.
