We are saddened to learn of the passing of a beloved Sayville High Music teacher, Mr. George Morgan Seyfert, April 23, 1933 – September 3, 2023 (aged 90).

We extend our sincere sympathies to Mr. Seyfert’s family, friends, colleagues, and students.

Mr. Seyfert was a very special teacher who touched the lives of many students. He is remembered as a kind, brilliant, talented, and inspirational music teacher, orchestra conductor, and mentor.

We will remember Mr. Seyfert every year on his birthday and hope this brings some level of comfort to those who knew and loved him.
